CONTEMPORARY WALNUT SHAKER STYLE KITCHEN

Our client asked us to design a contemporary walnut shaker style kitchen. The five-piece walnut doors are handcrafted in solid walnut and have walnut veneered centre panels for structural stability. Walnut is a wonderful, high-quality, luxurious timber which suits a stylish, high end kitchen. We introduced handcrafted sturdy pilasters to give a chunky but simple look to the cabinetry. Extra-long, sleek, square, polished chrome bar handles together with pale glass splashbacks and glass worktops create an elegant, contemporary look.

In-frame design with solid butt hinges

The beautiful and sturdy handcrafted kitchen cabinetry has been stained and polished to further deepen the dark rich tones of the original walnut wood. As you can see the doors and drawer fonts have been handcrafted with a slight round on the external edges. The slim chrome handles add considerable style without distracting from the stunning walnut grain; while the light painted glass worktop makes a stunning contrast to the dark tones of the walnut.

Glass wall cabinet

This contemporary kitchen design works beautifully with the exposed brickwork of this Weybridge property and creates an eye-catching space. The wall mounted dark walnut cabinet blends well with the brick wall background, which is a feature of this kitchen. The customised glass doors brighten the look especially with the added interior illumination shining through. The addition of open shelves to the cabinet provides the opportunity to display attractive items.
