Luxury in-frame kitchen with curved island

A curved, panelled, oak mantelpiece is an impressive feature of any traditional kitchen with a range cooker. The classical and architecturally styled features are in the form of curved cabinet corners and panelled recess doors with a subtle decorative internal door bead. This style of kitchen can be either part-painted with natural polished wood features or entirely painted in perhaps a heritage paint finish. The small cabinet doors each side of the AGA range cooker conceal great places for spices, oils and other items which are frequently needed close at hand whilst cooking. The thick chunky doors have been fitted by hand with polished chrome traditional hinges. The hand turned oak knobs enhance the hand painted kitchen cabinetry and complement the mantelpiece.

Bespoke traditional kitchen mantel

A bespoke traditional kitchen mantel like this one above the range cooker forms a uniquely attractive feature and focal point. Handcrafted in solid oak this mantel also neatly incorporates the homeowners’ extraction system. In addition, small oak cabinets on each side of the cooker provide convenient storage space for spices, oils and other items which are needed while cooking. Claude Clémaron kitchen mantels are handmade to order in any design.

Customised in-frame cabinetry

In-frame kitchen cabinets are incredibly strong and durable. This approach is where the doors sit perfectly within a frame, rather than on the facia of the cabinet. It requires time-honored cabinet making skills and beautiful solid timbers to construct this type of kitchen furniture. Bespoke in-frame cabinets like these allow you to have the design of storage and other features customised to suit your needs, such as integrating appliances as shown here.
