BESPOKE ART DECO BOOKCASE WITH CURVED ENDS & STEPPED PILASTERS

This impressive original  bespoke Art Deco bookcase creates a stunning feature in this prime south London residence. We had the pleasure of working closely with our clients on the design of this bespoke cabinetry. The unique touches encapsulate their love of the Art Deco style. The curved countertop and bold geometric shapes define the opulent Art Deco look and make this custom-designed bookcase and display cabinet highly distinctive.

Decorative Art Deco design details

This bookcase features Art Deco inspired geometric ornamentation and stepped pilasters and a stepped top trim under the cornice. The bespoke shelves in the central cabinet are made from extra strong 10mm clear safety glass for displaying heavy cherished pieces. The glass shelves add extra glamour and sparkle to the setting, especially when illuminated in the evening.

Pale cream hand painted finish

The bespoke bookcase has been styled with internal arched top doors and the complete cabinet is finished with a hand painted dragged and glaze finish. The dragging technique we used gives the piece real character. The handcrafted design and decadent detailing highlight the artistry of our furniture making skills which is also carried through to the matching radiator cabinets.
