PAINTED BOOKCASE WITH HALF ROUND PILASTERS & ALLOY BAR HANDLES

We were asked to design a custom-made bookcase in this 1960s London flat which would blend in with the plain but interesting décor. The result was a stylish cabinet with concealed storage and open display shelves with partitions fashioned with semi-circular detailed fronts.

Plain doors large handles

The painted bookcase cabinet was designed with flat doors and styled with a half round front to the vertical pilasters. The satin matt chrome D-type handles are all you need to dress the sleek doors.

Softer corners

The chamfered work surface has been angled to soften the sharp corner in this restricted space. Unusually shaped display shelves are used to finish off the end of this custom-made bookcase.
