CONTEMPORARY SHAKER STYLE KITCHEN IN WALNUT WOOD WITH CHUNKY PILASTERS
Our client asked us to design a contemporary Shaker influenced kitchen made from solid walnut and veneer. Walnut is one of the more expensive woods available. This timber lends itself to contemporary and classic styles. We have introduced some wide pilasters to give a chunky but simple look. We have used long, square, polished chrome bar handles to finish the look.
In-frame Shaker design with solid butt hinges
The kitchen cabinetry has been stained and polished to darken the original solid walnut wood. Doors and drawer fonts have been made with a slight round on the external edges.
As clear as glass
Sometimes all you need is a single, wall mounted cabinet as the brick wall background is the main feature of this part of the kitchen. We offer an extensive range of glass to fit within the cabinetry such as obscure glass, etched glass, painted glass and so on. Painted glass splashbacks or glass worktops create a stylish contemporary look.
