SOLID OAK KITCHEN DRESSER IN A WELSH DRESSER STYLE WITH SOLID OAK TONGUE & GROOVED BACK BOARDS

This oak dresser was designed and built to help with the overflow of plates and cutlery after we installed a new kitchen for our client. It was an instant practical success as it was installed at the dining room table end of the kitchen.

A fishy tail

The Welsh style dresser benefits from roomy cutlery drawers accompanied by compact drawers in the dresser top above. The fish shaped fretwork of the central pelmet was copied from the existing window pelmets to give some continuity across the kitchen.

Oak and glass

The in-frame solid oak doors are decorated with raised and fielded panels. Glass display cabinets on each side of the open central dresser section helps to lighten the look of this impressive cabinet.
