SHAKER DESIGN OPEN PLAN STORAGE IN MAPLE WOOD WITH BASKET ALCOVES

This extensive piece of kitchen store cabinetry was specifically designed for our client with further expansion to their family in mind. Our brief was to design something that wouldn’t become outdated or obsolete as this was a permanent piece of fitted furniture. The cabinets are made mainly of solid maple wood with some wood veneer.

Solid drawers are better than shelves

Pull out, solid wood drawers and trays are a very practical way to access the deep kitchen storage cabinets. Baskets are great as you can deliver and collect all the toys once they have been scattered around the room.

Doors or open shelves

The handmade, solid doors have been precisely fitted into the solid maple wood door frames. We have fitted a bespoke, solid wood childrenâs desk as part of this design concept.
