LIGHT OAK MULTIMEDIA CABINET WITH CUBE BOOKSHELVES
KINGS LANGLEY, HERTFORDSHIRE
Our client brief was to design and build a multimedia cabinet which could conceal their surround sound equipment. We crafted it from light oak with doors opening back to allow the trolley holding 2 stacks of amplifiers to be pulled out in order to access the back of the equipment. The satin steel grills are a design feature and also serve for ventilation.
Plain and simple
Sometimes keeping design details simple and square works very well in the correct surroundings. This thinking works for some but not for all cabinetry.
Square things up
The square compartments in the upper level of this media storage cabinet reflects the square top cornice detail. This cabinet is finished in a contemporary, light oak veneer.
