This handcrafted classic country kitchen was created for our client’s home in the Surrey village of East Horsley. Hand painted in a cream shade, the kitchen cabinets have a solid wood front frame with a traditional cock-bead surrounding the doors and drawers. A wide variety of tailored storage has been incorporated throughout. From cleverly concealed cupboards with push to open tongue and groove doors beneath the oak breakfast bar and worktop to an illuminated glass-fronted cabinet and open shelving for recipe books. Also, note the custom-made wood mantle which enhances and integrates the French farmhouse style range cooker.

Customised wood drawers

Bespoke drawers can be designed to ensure every inch of space is optimised. Handcrafted kitchen cabinet drawers like these constructed in solid wood are exceptionally strong and hardwearing. Soft close drawer runners make them effortless to open and close too. These benefits are particularly important when kitchen drawers are so frequently used. Solid oak worktops are naturally durable and the oak’s beautiful grain adds a huge amount of character to the work surface and kitchen.
