This wonderful bespoke in-frame country kitchen was commissioned for a rural property in the lovely Surrey village of Wonersh. Our client wanted a country kitchen that was traditionally handcrafted with flush, in-frame shaker style doors. While it reflects the best of the past, this kitchen also combines stylish features for modern living, such as customised storage and integrated appliances. The shaker doors are dressed with solid, satin chrome, traditional butt hinges and matching bar handles, which give a contemporary twist to this hand painted cottage kitchen. While the delicate hand turned corner posts give this bespoke kitchen a farmhouse chic look.

Tailored kitchen storage

This bespoke kitchen has been designed with all kinds of tailored kitchen storage cleverly fitted into an array of cupboards and drawers to make the most of the space. The pan drawers are extra wide and deep and handcrafted from solid oak they’re built to last. Modern appliances can be cleverly concealed behind a traditional exterior, such as this dishwasher. Fully integrated, this dishwasher has two separate drawers, instead of the usual pull-down door.

Curved peninsula

The curved peninsula cabinet creates a natural divide between the dining and kitchen preparation areas. A peninsula is similar to a kitchen island, instead of being freestanding, one end is connected. A peninsula offers the benefits of an island such as extra workspace, storage and a place to socialise but a peninsula can be incorporated to fit into any kitchen layout or size. The well-designed curved style makes an elegant statement and creates a relaxed flow to the space.
